The open plan kitchen enables guests to watch our skilled chefs at work, while the large Georgian windows treat guests to views of the neighbourhood mews. Come twilight, the soft lighting provides an intimate, romantic setting for dinner and drinks. The enticing new menu has been carefully developed by Head Chef Gary Durrant at Hunter 486, and Henrietta Green – a food and hospitality consultant, award-winning food writer and broadcaster.
Dishes include, salad of crispy oxtail with cream of horseradish; roast Norfolk black free range chicken; potted duck with fruit chutney and sourdough; peppered loin of venison with beetroot puree, turnip and potato gratin; homemade hamburger with onion marmalade in a brioche bun with Hunter ketchup and hand cut chips; and sticky toffee pudding with caramelised banana ice cream. With an enticing range of cuisine to suit all tastes, Hunter 486 is the perfect destination for a unique experience showcasing laid-back luxury dining.
THANKSGIVING AT HUNTER 486
Hunter 486 will be serving a traditional Thanksgiving feast to celebrate the US National Holiday. The special Thanksgiving menu will be available from Wednesday 25 November until Sunday 29 November 2015, from Noon until 10pm, and is priced at £25 for three courses.
